The 1980s – Probably the best decade ever!

Each week, we celebrate the Sounds of the 80s with a unique mix of iconic eighties songs and some great TV and movie clips to take you back.

The show also features news headlines from the 80s and a look back of some of the top local headlines from the golden decade, such as the first Southend Maraton in 1983 and the opening of the Royals Shopping Centre in 1988.

We also feature 80s classics from local artists such as Five Star, Depeche Mode, Yazoo and Alison Moyet.
