Just how does Southend Hospital Radio get the funds to broadcast? FROM YOU!
Southend Hospital Radio Service is funded totally by donations from the general public, private companies and the dedicated fundraising activities of its members.
In Southend and the surrounding areas you may have seen Southend Hospital Radio at fetes and fairs, as well as events such as the Rayleigh Lions Firework Display. We also hold collections at local supermarkets and on the high street.
If you feel you would like to contribute to the running of Southend Hospital Radio or donate your time to this worthwhile voluntary service, please write to us at our studios on the grounds of Southend Hospital.
