Every weeknight at 8pm here at Southend Hospital Radio we have a programme that’s based entirely around you, the patient. It’s designed to give you information and what’s on guides from around the local area, the latest and most important news relating to health and wellbeing from across the borough (as well as further afield) and it’s all accompanied with the best in music. How can we be so sure you’ll enjoy the music? Because you choose it! You’re welcome to pick a song for the programme by asking one of our friendly ward team members, or by dropping us a text or an email.

All of this is brought to you in a relaxed, conversational and friendly way by our team of presenters who come from all walks of life and are ready to share an evening with you on the radio.

It’s a community programme, designed and custom produced for patients of Southend Hospital or for those who receive care in the local area. Our ward staff visit the hospital most days and meet you, the patients, to find out what you’d like to hear and to make sure they play the music you want to listen to.
